Stamp-a-faire Challenge #10
Sometimes I forget that layering patterns under focal points, all on one-layer, can provide amazing results with a lot of depth! Here, I layered Polka Dot Basics under the sunflowers and leaves. The most important thing to keep in mind is to stamp the background in a lighter color than your focal point! And, just as a final note about this card, the sentiment is from the Half & Half set that we released last month!
So, your last challenge is to add a stamped focal point over a stamped background, all in the same layer! There is really a lot of opportunity here for some fun mixing and matching!
Here's my card...the stocking panel has tin types stamped on first in Hawaiian Shores and then I stamped the stocking over it...
I stamped the pattern from half and half on the green panel that was die cut with the matching die...
and colored the flowers with copics...
