...JaNuArY PtI HoP...

This month's PTI BLoG HoP CHaLLenGE is

I signed up to be in a garland exchange...more on that later :)  ...and while the garland I'm making for that will be burlap and a little rustic...my garland buddy has a little  girl...and when I saw this challenge, I thought of her...nothing screams 6 year old girl like a PiNK VaLenTiNE garland with SWeeT little animals on it...RigHT???

Here's a photo of the banner.  It's always been difficult for me to get a good shot of a banner...the long/thin thing doesn't work well with my camera...or maybe it's just operator error :)

I went with a pennant shape and a banner shape...keeping the images in a circle on both of them for a little continuity...

I used both the Valentine Tiny TreaTS and TreMenDouS TreaTS for this project...

I heat embossed the TiNY TReaT images with white powder on RaSPBeRrY FiZZ paper and layered them with a doily...originally I had everything done in RaSPBeRrY FiZZ, HiBiScuS BuRsT and white...but it needed SoMEThiNG...I threw in a little bit of HaWaiiaN SHoReS..andthat seemed to do the trick :)

I love how crisp the images look stamped in RaSPBeRRY FiZZ on white paper...and the little bit of turquoise stickles ties it in to the rest of the garland.

I strung it onto HaWaiiaN SHoReS stitched ribbon and added some PaperTReY buttons and baker's twine in between each image.

I hope my 6 year old recipient likes it :)

Thanks for LoOKinG!!
