Here's my version...
I used some paper that has been languishing for months in one of those cute little clear boxes that comes with the TaYLoreD ExPreSsioNS KeY IngReDieNT KitS...the stack of those things in the craft cubby is getting out of CONTroL!!!
To be honest, I built the entire card with absolutely NO idea what the focal point was going to be...I was just playing with paper :)
The PTI HappY DaYS set was sitting on my desk...and SeReNDiPiTY...it fit...it looked pretty good...and now I have a MothER's DaY card finished...win-win-win! :)
Here's a close up...I die cut and stamped it twice and then cut out the center oval and used some foam tape to give it a little dimension...I wasn't sure about the whole bow/button thing...it competes with the leaves in the background...but it looked naked to me without it..so while it's not the perfect solution...I felt the card was better with it...of course...I got dressed in the dark and am currently wearing two different socks...so there you go...
