another Spark....

Here's another quick entry to the  Paper SmOoChes Sparks challenge

I used a color combo this time...navy, kraft, baby pink, and teal...only problem is, I looked at the picture and DIDN'T read the color names...so...I thought the dark color was black...oops!!

I'm entering anyway because I did read the Challenge directions, and Kim states  "We do not have challenge police, so how you interpret our colors and sketches is entirely up to you...just have fun, ok?"   I'm just going to take that literally! :)

I used a kraft coffee bag to make a little gift baggie...that silly flower slays me!!  Sooooooo adorable!! I decorated a clothespin to top it off...I figure when I use it, I'll make a smaller banner with the recipient's name on it and attach it with the clothespin...then the receiver can re-gift in it if they want !

Thanks for looking! :)

SwEeT 16

My niece turned 16 this week!  MaN...how does that happen?!? One minute you're changing their diapers and you blink and they want a car...YiKeS!!!

Here is her ~gift ensemble~

I bought the bag and just added a banner strip to match the card...not much of an ~ensemble~ I guess :) but cute...

I had already made her this card but in different colors...but I realized the colors weren't really her...besides...it didn't match the bag!!!  That is a crime punishable by death somewhere! :)

So I got busy..it was super quick since there was no thinking on the card...just re-doing...and I got to fix the mistakes I made the first time...I had popped the VW bug panel up on white paper and realized that a black mat would look better....so that got fixed...I changed the ribbon too...

....and the envelope...can I just say this could be my favorite envie ever!!!!

And what do you get for a 16 year old girl?!?

A car of course...

...but I had to get one that would fit in her cute bag :)

The pink tree air fresheners coordinated so well, they had to go in as well!

The real gift was inside the envelope...I used a die from PTI to cut out the sweet little seed envelope inside and embossed it to match the accents on the bag...

GollY...that little vW bug stamp even looks cute completely naked!!

side note...she did turn 16...it was a MilEStoNe birthday...so I put $100 bill in the card...crazy girl pulled it out and looked inside to see if there was something else!!!  rEAlLy???  looking for keys, maybe?  Sheesh!!

Here she is blowing out her candles on the beautiful cake Grammi made her...

Ahhhhhh.....she's so cute....  :)

JuSt iN cAse...

...you thought all I did was collect and organize supplies...here are a few pictures of some of the things I've made in the last month...

Here's a cake I made for 4th of July...totally stolen from Glorious Treats...red, white, and blue (very, very blue) inside...I'm a slacker...no pic of that...to busy eating it! :)

Cookies I made for the CMRLL All-Star team...my first paying cookie gig...

24 sets bagged like this and over a dozen small balls bagged up individually for the player's siblings...

It was a lot of cookies!...I was really happy with the packaging though...detailed enough without being fussy...don't know why I bothered though...you know 13 year old boys weren't critiquing my headers! LOL!

I got the Copic air gun...the background paper here was the first thing I made with it...just layered lots of colors.  That stamp set is from PTI...I'm not generally a flower person..but I LOVE this set...it's called Daydreamer...

Same piece of paper...just higher up...and same stamp set...

Here's the thank you card Connor sent his Aunt Shirley for his bd gift.  We always make her a special card because she appreciates them...I usually get a call after she receives them asking about different products or techniques I used...I love sending cards to people like that!!   aMuse stamp and sentiment...told you they were funny!!

Okay...and here's the random bits that were floating in the lower left corner of the desktop...all PTI...but nothing else in common...

Enjoy the ride set...

Blooming button bits....

another button bits image and polka dot basics with an aMuse sentiment...

all PTI...stamp, ink, paper, envelope...ummmm...I think the ribbon is from someone else...

OK...there's a little proof that I actually use the stuff in the cubbyhole :)

Off to use some more stuff now...
