...PeNnY BLacK ReiNDeEr...

So...you know it has an excellent chance of being a good day when...

...the morning starts off with a pumpkin spice latte delivered by your dad and a new christmas idea magazine...

...you complete the giftie for your neighbor...including a cute envelope...

(it's not cookies, but I'd forgotten that I'd picked up this turkey votive holder and a candle for her the last time I was at Bath&Body Works)

...AND you manage to MAKE something during nap time...

...on my last trip to the local scrapbook store...
when I was looking for HaLLoWeEn paper...

I bought the CuTeST PeNnY BLacK stamp set...

and I hoped yesterday that I'd get to use it on a redo of this week's great sketch from

...and I squeezed it in when I was supposed to be folding laundry during nap time...

maybe if I'm really lucky

~the laundry fairy~

will come and take care of that load of towels for me

BwAhaHahAHahaha

any way...here's my card...

AcK...she is sooooo CuTe!!!!!  That reindeer is AdoRabLe!!!
and I was right...it worked perfectly with this sketch...and I used ANOTHER previously unopened KI kit!

Here's a closer view..the snowflake is coated in prisma glitter and so is the strip of snow in the background...and so is the floor and my pants and the cat...that stuff is so fine it gets EVERYWHERE!!

ok...I really do need to go finish the laundry now...I know the Laundry Fairy boycotts my house ;(

Thanks for looking and
Have a GrEaT weekend!

...ThANkFuL for YoU...

I used the Deconstructing Jen sketch over on the exTrEmELy talented Jen Shults' blog

and the goodies in my AwEsOMe new TaYLoReD ExPreSsioNs KI kit to make this card.

The colors in the kit just happened to match the

challenge this week which was a color palette by the super talented Charmaine Ikach

The challenge this week was to use these colors to make a thank you card and send it to someone not expecting one.  I know where it's going and that there's a tasty prize going with it, but since it's not getting delivered until tomorrow, and the person might be looking at this post before then...I can't say more than that :)

Here's my card...everything in it came out of a KI kit...most of it was this month's but the pearls were from past month and the fabric flowers were from a different month...there are aLWaYS a bunch of fun goodies in the kit...gorgeous paper, coordinating cardstock, ribbon, and a fun extra...plus they come in amazing little storage boxes.  My kits have been a squidge underutilized...as in there are a dozen or so of them stacked up and many haven't been touched...oops...but I've set a goal to use something from every kit before the end of the year...I used 3 kits today...WoO-HoO!!

I used a copic on the center of the fabric flower and threw on a few PTI buttons and another pearl to tie it in to the card...I love this sketch and want to use the adorable new Penny Black stamps I just bought to try it again...I think my cute little reindeer girl would fit perfectly in the center ;)

Here's a closer view of the center.  I used the new TE stamp set that was a special purchase available to KI kit club members...it was HaLF PRiCe!!!!!  AMaZinG!!!  LooK at how adorable that wreath is!! LoVE it!!

That's all for today...I have to go finish a big ol' wood project I've been working on all week...it's for my son's school Fallfest...better get a move on if it's going to get done by tomorrow...YiKeS!!

Thanks for LoOking!
